Scooter's Coffee: Friendly Service and Rich, Smooth Drinks in Downers Grove, IL

I stopped by the Downers Grove Scooters and was very pleasantly surprised. This was my first visit to a Scooters so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I don’t do super fancy coffees but my iced vanilla latte was wonderful…..smooth and rich. The staff was great. The barista, Bella, was very friendly and when she offered me some mini donuts, I had to try them. They are so good. Would definitely recommend!

Scooter’s has a really good Cinnalicious iced coffee and a good spicy sausage burrito! The owner was very nice and friendly! Highly recommended! 5 stars

I’ve been here a couple of times now. They have such a massive selection of drinks! I’m a big iced tea drinker, so I’ve paired it with the tart cherry syrup and loved it. I also love their tomato and feta egg bites! The drive thru staff is super friendly at this location too. I will definitely be making this a frequent stop when passing through Downer’s.

Absolutely loved this place! The coffee was amazing with so many great options to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The mini donuts are so tasty and the perfect treat alongside my drink. Can’t wait to go back!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Scooters while visiting the area! From the moment I walked in with kiddos in tow, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were warm, friendly, and clearly love what they do. The service was quick but never rushed, and everyone I interacted with had a smile. I apologized for the chaos of my little ones and the gentlemen in the back said with a wide smile, “This is a family business ma’am, we would be disappointed if you didn’t bring the kids!” I could tell immediately he meant it. The coffee itself was outstanding! It was rich, smooth, and perfectly crafted. Exactly the mom-fuel I needed. You can tell they put real care into every cup. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, making it the perfect spot to catch up with a friend, pop in with family, or get a little work done. I even saw a young woman working with her laptop sipping coffee and enjoying the great space. Overall, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for great coffee served by people who actually brighten your day, this place is an absolute must-visit!!

This place is awesome! The coffee is smooth and tastes fresh every time, and the food is even better. The donut bites are addicting, and the sausage burrito is honestly one of the best quick breakfast items I’ve had. Everything comes out hot and fast. The merch looks great, the inside is clean, and it’s a really nice local spot to sit in without feeling rushed. Staff is friendly and the whole place has a welcoming vibe. Easily one of my new favorite stops in the morning. Highly recommend!!!

Stopped by Scooter’s Coffee and had a great experience. The turtle latte was delicious—perfectly sweet and smooth without being overpowering. I also tried their regular coffee, which was fresh and well-balanced, and the egg frittata was surprisingly good for a quick coffee stop. On top of that, the customer service was excellent—everyone was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Overall a great spot whether you’re grabbing a specialty drink or just a classic coffee. I’ll definitely be back.
